About Course
Ever wanted to learn programming? Maybe you wanted to try it out just once? Or maybe you don’t even know what programming is, and simply enjoy playing Minecraft? If you (or your kid) said “yes” to any one of these questions, then this course is perfect for you (or your kid)! π¦π§π»πΎπΎ
There is no denying that we are in the very early stages of emerging technologies such as quantum computing, self-driving cars, neurotechnology, nanotechnology, genetic engineering, Internet of Things (IoT), edge computing, robotics, 5G mobile networks, Artificial Intelligence (AI), blockchain technology, cybersecurity, energy-storage, smart grid technology, big data, bioinformatics, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and so much more.
And to be ready for this new era, the best thing one can do no matter the domain of interest, especially at a young age, is to learn to speak the language of computers. π»π₯οΈ
This course is the first part of a two-series course which will get you from absolute beginner, not knowing a single thing about computers,Β to writing actual lines of Python code, using the same platform used by professionals. π¨βπ»π©βπ»
This first course of the series is meant to test the waters. Here, it’s all about the fundamentals. The course progresses relatively slowly (compared to the follow-up course), with lots of practice along the way to solidify the basic concepts. No student is left behind.
β β β If you see yourself going into the field of programming, this course will provide fantastic fundamentals which will be carried onto the rest of your life. And that is whether you decide to go to university and study Computer Science, or simply program a drone as a hobby. π¨βππ©βπ
β β β If you are not yet sure if programming is for you, then this course will be a perfect way to find out. You are given everything you need in order to succeed, including arguably the easiest way to learn anything: gamification. Although the difficulty level rises very gradually, by the end of the 12-week session, you will have quite impressive projects under your belt. The progress is seamless and natural. If you sign up for the course and for whatever reason decide that it is not for you, we do have a 100% refund policy. π§Ύπ§Ύπ§Ύπ§Ύπ§Ύ
β β β And finally, if you enjoy playing Minecraft, then this course will simply be an extension to the fun you are already having! Kids who love Minecraft love this course, because it doesn’t even feel like a course. It’s just more fun time! βοΈβοΈπΎπΎ
